Dead by Daylight's developers released a list of the most popular killers in Dead by Daylight based on pick rate. This gives players some insight as to which killers the community loves the most, and which ones aren't picked so often. Of course, these numbers tend to change all the time as characters are reworked, added, and even removed; as in the case of the Stranger Things chapter.

Without further ado, let's take a look at the most popular killers in Dead by Daylight.

Who Is The Most Popular Killer In Dead By Daylight Right Now?

According to Behavior Interactive, here is a list of Dead by Daylight's 10 most popular killers, ranked by pick rate:

  • The Xenomorph (14%)
  • The Huntress (6%)
  • The Wraith (6%)
  • The Mastermind (5%)
  • The Ghost Face(4%)
  • The Legion(4%)
  • The Shape(4%)
  • The Nurse (4%)
  • The Trapper (4%)
  • The Blight(4%)

    Note - Behavior Interactive have not released any updated pick rates since their post on October 6.

    The Xenomorph from the game's recent Alien chapter stands out as Dead by Daylight's most frequently played killer, with a 14% pick rate. Of course, all new killers tend to have an inflated pick rate for a while after their release, since fans will want an opportunity to try out the new killer while they're still a fresh face. As a result, this number will likely go down over time.

    However, The Xenomorph can also absolutely lend some of its high pick rate to the fact that it's from one of the game's most highly-anticipated collabs of all time. Additionally, this character is also an extremely mobile killer with a wide array of abilities - including a Tail Attack that works over vaults and other obstacles - already making it a fan favorite for many.

    Who Is The Least Popular Killer In Dead By Daylight?

    The least popular killer in Dead by Daylight is The Twins, with a measly 0.62% pick rate. (That info comes from NightLight.GG, an unofficial fan site where players can track their matches). If you're wondering, DBD hasn't officially released a list of the killers with the lowest pick rates.

    The Twins have long been a controversial killer in the game's community, with many players believing that they are too strong when it comes to camping and that they aren't particularly fun to play against. However, developers have recently heavily reworked characters with camping abilities (such as The Skull Merchant) and even implemented an anti-camping mechanic, and they've mentioned that The Twins are next on the list.

    After their rework, it's likely The Twin's pick rate could rise and this duo could lose their status as some of the Dead by Daylight community's most disliked killers, both to play and to play against.
