Maddie Brown and her family could really use your prayers right about now.
Earlier this week, the occasional Sister Wives star opened up on Instagram about the loss of a loved one, sharing multiple photos online in mourning, along with a heartfelt message.
"Its a sad day here at the Brush household," wrote Brown as a caption to these pictures, referencing her married name and adding:
"Yesterday night we had to say goodbye to Caleb’s brown baby and our very loving family member. Miss Nova’s presence will be greatly missed. She was one of a kind!"
Nova, of course, is Maddie and her husband’s dog.
The TLC personality included the snapshots below of the late canine in tribute to Nova.
Among those who commented on this tragic post was Maddie’s famous mother, Janelle Brown.
“I’m so sad she will no longer be there, so happy to greet me, when I visit,” the veteran Sister Wives cast member wrote in response. “he really was one of a kind.”
A multitude fans sent similar messages, expressing their condolences in the Comments section of Maddie’s Instagram page.
“So sorry for your loss!” one individual wrote. “Fur babies make our lives so much better! I wish they could live forever!!!”
Maddie welcomed her second child in August.
Her name is Evie and she joins brother Axel in the reality star’s immediate family.
According to various outlets at the time, the newborn arrived weighing 8 lbs.,12 oz., and measured 21 inches long — and looked so very precious and perfect.
It’s very sad to think she’ll now grow up without a protector such as Nova around.
She does have an adoring big brother, however, as Maddie has made evident.
“Sometimes I feel like I need to post something profound, something ‘Instagram,’ worthy. Sometimes I just want to share the best parts of my life,” Brown captioned an amazing snapshot of her youngsters napping together, adding as a caption to this image:
“Here is the some of the later. Axel LOVES Evie!”

And here is how Maddie concluded her message back then:
“The sun and moon set around what her day is. I got up early one morning and went to check on them. I came back to this.
"He has climbed into our bed to cuddle with a recently milked out Evie! Made my heart just about burst!”
Simply amazing.
