She is an athlete, who has specialized in both track and field and bobsled, being one of the few athletes to participate in both the Summer Olympic and Winter Olympic Games. Lolo Jones won the USA Indoor Championships in 2007 and, the following year, in 2008, she won the USA Outdoor Championship and the USA Indoor championships. In 2010, she was the US Indoor silver medalist and won the World Indoor Championship and the USA Outdoor Championship. Lolo Jones was the Indoor Visa champion twice, in 2008 and 2009, and is the holder for the Indoor 60m American record (7.72).

At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the athlete finished seventh in the 100 meter hurdles, although starting as favorite after being the 2008 Olympic Trials Champion. She competed also in the 2012 Olympic Games in London, were she placed fourth in 100m hurdles.
