Fruitland Police says it's received 401 tips: 'Michael is our priority'

FRUITLAND, Idaho (CBS2) — The exhaustive search for a missing Fruitland boy continues.

The Fruitland Police Department on Monday provided the community with a new update on 5-year-old Michael Vaughan.

"We want our community know that Michael is our priority and the needs of the investigation and search demand a huge amount of our attention," Fruitland PD wrote.

The police department says it's received 401 tips into the tip line and each one has been assigned to an investigator. Idaho Mountain Search and Rescue also provided another search last week in the area of SW 9th and an area north of the primary search area.
